Questions

Indoor Air Quality FAQs

How often should air ducts be cleaned?

Many homes benefit from duct cleaning every few years, and sooner after renovations, pest problems or visible dust and debris at the vents. RC Heating & AC can inspect your ducts and tell you honestly whether cleaning is needed.

What does HVAC zoning do?

HVAC zoning divides your home into areas with their own thermostats, so a single system can keep each zone at a different temperature. RC Heating & AC installs zoning systems that help with rooms that are always too hot or too cold.

Which air filter should I use?

The right filter depends on your system and your household’s needs, such as pets or allergies. As a general guide, a quality pleated filter changed regularly works well for most homes; RC Heating & AC can recommend a filter that won’t restrict your system’s airflow.

“Highly recommend Arce Heating & AC! Reasonably priced service fee compared to other companies. Daurin Castro came to our home and looked at our old unit and explained to me what needed to be done before he could assess the problem further. He showed me options and prices instead of just stating that this or that needed to be done. He was a friendly, punctual, and professional tech. We will definitely use their services again! Thanks Daurin!”
